World Blood Donor Day marked in Buenos Aires

a technician in a laboratory performing a test for the detection of blood group in the laboratory of the Buenos Aires "Hemocentro" (Blood Center) Foundation, in Buenos Aires, capital of Argentina. The World Blood Donor Day is celebrated every year on June 14. In 2016, the theme of the campaign is "Blood connects us all", the World Health Organization (WHO) has also adopted the slogan "Share Life, Give Blood" in order to raise awareness of the importance of systems of voluntary donation as a way of promoting community cohesion.
