HH Lt-General Shaikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, has launched the 27th Abu Dhabi International Book Fair
The book fair was launched under the patronage of HH Shaikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, according to UAE News Agency (WAM).
The current cycle of the fair was organised by Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority with the participation of 1,320 exhibitors representing 65 countries from around the world, with over 500,000 titles in over 30 languages.
The current Abu Dhabi International Book Fair is celebrating China as guest of honour and is culturally re-launching the Silk Road Project, which has proven its ability to encourage cultural exchange and social and scientific openness.
