The first English book by Emirati writer Sultan Saeed al-Darmaki was released in libraries within the UAE, UK and US. The writer provides a humane image of modern life that suits all literature audiences. Al-Darmaki aimed to present an extraordinary book, different to other novels he's written. "This new book is a serious attempt to provide a different kind of novel. The book is beyond words and works with images of content to tell a story. The book is ideal for people who are looking for something different." His book is a slice of life story and addresses several humanitarian cases, through day to day occurrences. It is humorous and reflects a new style of writing for al-Darmaki. The writing style of "Leave the Birds Alone" is inspired by his childhood, he said. "My father also inspired me as did my travels and experiences with people from different cultures.”
