Israeli occupation authorities decided today to partially open the Karam Abu Salem crossing to allow the export of a truckload with strawberries and green spices to Europe. Head of the Coordination Committee for entry of goods in the Gaza Strip Raed Fattouh said that the Israeli authorities decided also to allow the entry of 270 truckloads with aids and goods for both commercial and agricultural sectors, in addition to quantities of cement, construction iron and gravel for UNRWA projects. Limited quantities of diesel for power plant in the Gaza Strip were allowed to be pumped through the same terminal, as well as other quantities of transportation fuel and cooking gas.
