Supported by the Syrian government, the General Authority for Palestine Arab Refugees (GAPAR) and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) distributed 726 food basket at Yarmouk Camp in Damascus.
GAPAR Director Ali Mustafa said that the aid was distributed at Rama Street in the Camp on Thursday and Friday and one person with a medical condition was evacuated to receive treeatment.
He added that the food baskets that have been distributed since 30th of last January have reached 50,166.
The inhabitants of Yarmouk Camp are still trapped by armed terrorist groups who have repeatedly hampered the initiatives and efforts which were agreed on to put an end to the crisis inside the neighborhood and provide access to humanitarian assistance.
