The Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Ministry stressed the importance of regulating raising money for religious and charity purposes. It called, in a statement, to comply with the decree-law 21 for 2013 and its executive bylaw in raising money of religious specificity in order to prevent any illicit misuse of those funds and stimulate philanthropic work within the framework of transparency, responsibility and commitment.
In line with the afore-mentioned decree-law, the ministry called on individuals raising funds and accepting donations for religious purposes to approach the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments for an authorisation.
