Under the patronage of HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of HM the King also President of the Supreme Council for Women, the second Gulf Businesswomen Forum under the slogan "Bridges of Cooperation and Openness" will be launched on 15 - 16 October 2014 in Manama.
Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) and the GCC Chambers' General Secretariat will organize the forum, with the participation of more than 300 personalities and businesswomen of Bahrain, Arab and international countries.
President of Business and Professional Women's Club, Shaikha Hind bint Salman Al Khalifa, in a press conference held today, said the forum aims to discuss the economic challenges faced by GCC businesswomen, raise their economic competence, and enhance communication among them.
Head of BCCI Businesswomen Committee, Afnan Al-Zayani, said this forum comes to reinforce Bahraini women's role in social and economic development process and their engagement in the private sector.
