Industry and Commerce Minister Dr. Hassan Fakhro today visited The Gulf Hotel, where he was received by Aqeel Al Rayes and Abdulla Al Awadhi. Dr. Fakhro stressed the government and the minstry's support for the vital hospitality sector, hailing the efforts of the hotel officials to promote the kingdom by providing premium services with the aim of attracting tourists. He paid a similar visit to Al Murooj Hotel where he was received by hotel general manager Saleem Naseer. The minister expressed the government’s keenness to promote different economic sectors, stressing the importance of the sector as a key economic pillar attracting a large number of tourists. He toured Ansar Gallery and was updated on promotional offers, including food, consumer goods, furniture and home accessories. He also visited eXtra Electronics, one of the largest electronic stores in Bahrain, and was briefed by branch manager Philip Rogas on promotional offers.
