Chairman of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), Khalid Abdulrahman Al-Moayyad, has met Ahmed Abdul Rahman Mohammed, Secretary General of Federation of Arab-China Friendship Associations (FACFA), affiliated to the Arab League and based in (Khartoum, Sudan).
BCCI Chairman hailed the ongoing Bahrain-Sudan economic relations, stressing the need to overcome obstacles that hinder the development process and the progress of bilateral trade, which has amounted to approximately $11.6 million.
He underlined keenness to invigorate Bahraini-Sudanese economic and trade relations. He also praised the bilateral trade relations between Bahrain and China, which has topped $ 1.7 billion, noting the upcoming visit of a Bahraini business delegation to China.
FACFA Sec-Gen commended BCCI's efforts in promoting Bahraini-Sudanese development and investment relations. He pointed out the growth witnessed by various economic sectors in Sudan, inviting Bahrain's trade sector to invest in these sectors.
He called on Bahraini economic sector's representatives to visit Sudan to enhance information about cooperation opportunities there, highlighting his current visit to Bahrain aims to boost investment cooperation and economic relations between both countries private sectors.
