The Finance Ministry auctioned on Monday treasury bills at a total value of LE 2.5 billion.
In an online statement, the ministry said it auctioned the three-year T-bills worth 2 billion EGP, with average yield 14.009 %, adding it accepted bids at rates between 14.120% and 13.85%.
The ministry auctioned also seven-year T-bills which worth 500 million EGP. They achieved an average revenue of 15.601%, the ministry said, adding it accepted bids at rates between 15.67% and 15.1%.
The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) auctions T-bills on behalf of the Finance Ministry.
