EU plans investment in Sudan's minerals

Sudanese Minerals Minister Kamal Abdel Latif has met with the Ambassador of the European Union to Sudan Thomas Ulicny to discuss expanding cooperation between Sudan and EU member states. The meeting on Tuesday aimed at advancing development in Sudan and the wider region, particularly in the minerals sector. Ulicny stated that an upcoming EU meeting in Brussels would discuss Sudan’s minerals resources. The Sudanese official hoped greater cooperation would lead to an increase in foreign investment in the African state.
