The 14th Executive Board (EB) meeting of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) was held in Doha yesterday. Chairman of the board, IIya Galkin, (Russia) and alternate chairman Cesar Hinestrosa (Equatorial Guinea) led the sessions. The meeting was attended by delegations from all the 12 member countries: Algeria, Bolivia, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Iran, Libya, Nigeria, Qatar, Russia, Trinidad & Tobago, Oman and Venezuela, as well as Netherlands and Norway as observers. GECF work programme and budget for 2013 were discussed by the meeting. Prior to the meeting, GECF secretary general Leonid Bokhanovskiy hosted a series of other meetings here.
