Irrigation Minister Mohamed Abdel Ati will lead Egypt's delegation to the World Water Week that will kick off in Stockholm on August 27.
More than 3,250 professionals and 377 institutions representing 133 states are taking part in the event to run till September 1.
The event will shed light on water challenges facing developed and developing countries.
Abdel Ati will take part in a number of sessions covering ways of adapting with climate changes, water security challenges, social accountability in the water sector, re-use of drainage water and ways of improving water quality.
This year’s World Water Week is focused on the theme of “Water and Waste: Reduce and Reuse”.
