King Abdullah II of Jordan on Tuesday underlined the Arab kingdom's keenness to boost ties with China in different fields, the state-run Petra news agency reported. The Jordanian king made his remarks at a meeting with a delegation of Chinese parliamentarians headed by Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China, Han Qide. Han voiced China's support to Jordan, commending the Arab kingdom's efforts to attain peace in the Middle East. "We hail Jordan's achievements in terms of stability and security, which made the country attractive to investments," Han said. The king also said Jordan is looking forward to more cooperation with China, especially through more Chinese involvement in vital projects in Jordan in fields of transport, energy and water.
