Jordan Customs has taken all necessary measures to facilitate passenger traffic during Eid al-Adha at the Kingdom's border crossings.
In a press release on Tuesday, the department said that customs centers have been reinforced with qualified human resources to function easily and smoothly, in order to reflect positively on travelers and expatriates.
Jordan Customs' Director General, Munther Al Assaf instructed the managers of departments and customs centers to take all measures to facilitate and accelerate the flow of passengers and goods.
He also called for extending the official working hours at the customs' clearance centers, on Wednesday and Thursday, before Eid, as well as facilitating and speeding up goods flow during the holiday, taking into account that staff leaves will be restricted ahead of Eid.
The statement added that customs centers have increased the number of lanes to allow the Kingdom's visitors and expatriates to spend the holiday at home and among friends and family without any obstruction or delay.
