Kuwait Airways is to sign within the coming two weeks a deal to buy 10 Boeing jets in a deal valuated at $3.2 billion at list prices, sources at the Kuwaiti Airways said.
The contract was approved after being revised by a legal consultant in London, the sources told Al Shahed newspaper.
Meanwhile, the Kuwait Airways will receive the first batch of the rented Air Bus jets in December.
The Kuwaiti company has earlier unveiled the signing of a contract with Airbus Group NV (AIR) to buy 25 jets and rent 12 others, including A350 wide-bodies aircraft.
The rented jets will replace the old fleet till the arrival of the new Airbus and Boeing jets, expected in 2019.
