The economic ministerial group held a meeting Monday under Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab to discuss ways to encourage investment in the field of renewable energy.
During the meeting, Investment Minister Ashraf Salman reviewed offering the investment certificates of the New Suez Canal project.
Salman said that the project and other major national projects adopted by the government are part of the stimulus programs of the Egyptian economy.
Such projects will provide many job opportunities for youths, Salman said.
Asked about a new investment law drawn up by the ministry, Salman said a bill is currently reviewed.
The planned law will facilitate measures to get land licenses, he added.
