Newest Minister of Finance and National Economy, Badr Edeen Mahmud has renewed the State's obligation to continuous tax reform policies, and by expanding the umbrella of tax and reduce the burden on taxpayers and to address tax evasion .
The minister said at a meeting of the Supreme Committee for the tax and customs reform held at the ministry, Sunday that the tax reform aimed at removing distortions and encourage production in the productive sectors and the domestic industry .
He stressed the continuation of reform policies without imposing any additional taxes, referring to the attention of the Committee to review tax exemptions to limit the effects of the negative impacts .
The tax reform comes in the context of a series of reforms pursued by the ministry in preparation for the five-year economic program.
