The president of Civil Service Bureau (CSB), Khalaf Hmeisat, reviewed his institution's achievements, including the competitive exams held recently in collaboration with the Ministry of Education to appoint teachers in line with the government's plan to develop the education sector.
At a meeting with a Palestinian delegation from the General Personnel Council (GPC), headed by its director Mousa Abu-Zaid, currently visiting the Kingdom to check on the progress achieved by the CSB, Hmeisat pointed to the recent decisions of the Cabinet to bring jobs in municipalities and Greater Amman Municipality within the jurisdiction of the CSB since it has precise and transparent procedures.
Abu-Zaid praised the advanced expertise that Jordan has in the sphere of civil service, stressing his desire for boost cooperation to promote Palestine's human resource systems.
The CSB's personnel reviewed the most prominent projects and goals of the Strategic Plan for the CSB for the years (2014-2016), and the bureau's vision for the future.
The two countries signed last year an agreement between the GPC and the CSB to enhance cooperation in the field of civil service.
