Prime Minister Sherif Ismail attended on Tuesday a ceremony for signing the contract of carrying out an electrical train project linking Salam area with the New Administrative Capital passing through the new cities of Sherouk and Badr.
The 68KM-long railway will be carried out by the Chinese company AVIC International and will cost dlrs 1.254 billion including dlrs 793 million as a loan offered by the Chinese company with an interest rate estimated 1.8 percent.
The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Chinese company and Minister of Transport Hisham Arafat.
