Prime Minister Abdul Aziz Saleh bin Habtoor held meeting with a number of his cabinet to discuss developing mechanisms for strengthening partnership between the government and private sector in all areas.

The meeting was attended by deputy prime minister for security affairs, Jalal al-Rwaishan, minister of trade and industry, Abdu Bishr, and minister of finance Saleh Shaban and others.

The Ministers reviewed the memorandum presented by the General Union of Commercial Chambers which included a number of proposals to strengthen the partnership between the government and the private sector to overcome the ongoing difficulties and problems.

They approved forming a committee from the government and private sector to study the proposals and mechanism to implement the suggested plan.
