Qatari financial institutions to close Wednesday

All financial institutions (banks, investment companies, finance companies, exchange houses) operating in Qatar would be closed to the public on Wednesday, January 1st, 2014, Qatar Central Bank (QCB) announced today.The closure comes in order to finalize preparation of the closing accounts for fiscal year 2013, according to QCB press release.These institutions will reopen to the public on Thursday, the 2nd of January, 2014.
