The Meduim, Small and Micro Enterprises Development Agency has started activating the initiative to train 10,000 entrepreneurs within the framework of "Start and Improve Your Business" program.
Up to 27 training programs will be held this month across all governorates, out of which seven have been implemented in Cairo, Alexandria, Red Sea, Ismailia, Minya, Assuit and Fayoum to train 153 entrepreneurs, Executive President of the SMEs Development Agency Neveen Gamea said.
The agency aims at implementing 326 training programs in the remaining governorates till the end of the year, she added.
The initiative is meant to promote the entrepreneurship culture through honing the skills of youth to establish successful projects, Gamea added.
The entrepreneurship initiative is implemented in cooperation with the International Labor Organization (ILO) and the Canadian government.
