The Minister of Finance, Trade and Investment of South Sudan State, Ageri Tessa Saboni, has describes as very important the current session of the African Caucus, currently convening in Khartoum.
In a statement to SUNA, he said that the African Caucus meetings represents an important forum and provides a good opportunity for the finance and economic officials in Africa to discuss issues of the African states' economies and uniting the visions for achieving the aspired development, especially under the current economic challenges and changes.
He said that Sudan is playing a pivotal role and have a major effect bases on its potentialities and resources which qualify it to realize development and stability.
He said that there are several issues that are due to be discussed between Sudan and South Sudan State for the interest of the two countries.
The minister has pointed to the agreement which was signed between Sudan and South Sudan in September 2009 on a number of economic and political issues.
He pointed to the progress achieved by Sudan in various fields, stressing that the stability in Sudan is necessary for the stability of South Sudan State, referring to the ongoing cooperation between the two countries in various fields for the interest of the peoples of the two sister peoples.
