Ministry of Transportation's Undersecretary for Land Transport and Postal Service, Mariam Ahmed Jam'an, today chaired the Ministries of Transportation and Communications' Undersecretaries Committee meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, in the presence of GCC Ministries of Transport and Communications' Undersecretaries and heads of relevant authorities. The meeting discussed the main themes and projects relevant to GCC transportation sector and agreed on the recommendations and proposals to be submitted to the 17th Ministerial meeting of GCC Ministers of Transportation to be held on 30 September 2013. The meeting agenda will include a number of topics related to the Gulf transportation sector, including GCC railway project, dialogues to be held with other international countries and economic groups, as well as other issues of common interest.
