Thirty-eight ships transited the Suez Canal on Sunday, with a total cargo of 2.4 million tons.
The south-bound convoy included 18 vessels carrying 1.2 million tons, while the north-bound convoy included 20 ships carrying 1.2 million tons, according to statements by a shipping source at the Suez Canal Authority.
