Fifty-two ships transited the Suez Canal on Tuesday, with a total cargo of about 2.7 million tons.
The south-bound convoy included 32 vessels carrying around 1.8 million tons, while the north-bound convoy included 20 ships carrying 943,000 tons, according to a statement issued by the Suez Canal Authority.
