A traditional water salute welcomed the first A380 arrival into Dubai World Central, the emirate’s second international airport, from South Korea.
The Koren Air flight KE9951 touched-down from Incheon International Airport to connect tourists to cruise ships in Dubai.
The flight was the first of a series of scheduled flights the carrier will operate to DWC.
DWC welcomed a total of 850,633 passengers in 2016 and is currently served by 27 passenger carriers, operating an average of 108 flights weekly to 44 international destinations.
