The German investments in Egypt are likely to increase in the upcoming period thanks to the visit of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to Germany which ended Tuesday, Investment Minister Sahar Nasr said.
Nasr, currently in Germany as part of an Egyptian delegation that accompanied the president, said the president visit to Berlin led to a significant and remarkable growth in Egyptian-German relations.
Representatives of companies that had a meeting with Sisi hailed the new investment law as well as the professional training program for human cadres adopted by the Egyptian government, the minister said.
During the meetings, representatives of German companies raised a number of investment problems facing them in the Egyptian market, she added.
Nasr said that measures are taken, in cooperation with the justice ministry, to solve such problems.
