The Secretary General of the Arab-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry Abdulaziz al Mikhlafi said that the visit of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to Germany comes to push forward the Egyptian-German economic relations at all levels.
Mikhlafi told MENA on Monday that trade exchange between the two countries has noticeably developed by about 30 percent compared to last year.
The German investments in Egypt increased, he noted, pointing out to investments of Siemens company in the energy field.
There are big German firms that seek investing in the Suez Canal Axis which was stressed by Sisi, as the German companies can be a partner in the ventures of roads, infrastructure and new cities, Mikhlafi underscored.
Sisi invited the German companies to play a role in the economic renaissance process witnessed by Egypt, Mikhlafi noted, adding that Germany is a pioneering country in the field of car industry which Egypt seeks to develop.
