French oil major Total will inject dlrs 200 million investments into Egypt within the coming five years.
A Total team - led by Senior Vice President, Africa/Middle East, Total Marketing & Services Stanislas Mittleman - considered Egypt as a promising market and the key for expanding the company's activities in Africa.
Prime Minister Sherif Ismail had talks on Thursday with Mittleman, Cabinet Spokesman Hossam Qashawi said, noting that Petroleum Minister Tareq Mulla attended the meeting.
Ismail stressed the government's keenness on securing a proper investment climate and offering all needed facilities to lure more investments into various service sectors, particularly oil and energy sectors.
The premier urged establishing gas stations specialized in serving trucks and trailers nationwide, especially in Upper Egypt.
