Arabian Centres Company Ltd. (ACCL) has signed a sponsorship agreement with top entertainment specialists Event Box to conduct children’s events throughout the year, in its malls across Saudi Arabia.
A series of 12 events will be held throughout 2017 in leading ACCL malls such as Al Hamra Mall in Riyadh and Yasmeen Mall in Jeddah; and will feature a host of popular characters from famous animated shows and films such as “Dora the Explorer” and “Ice Age.”
The events will give shoppers and visitors the chance to meet and greet their favorite cartoon heroes in person. The two main shows will take place in Riyadh and Jeddah, with many more to be announced throughout the year.
In Riyadh, “Ice Age” premiered at the Al Hamra Mall on Friday and Saturday, with three shows on both days between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. In Jeddah, “Dora the Explorer” will be performed at Yasmeen Mall from March 29 until April 1, with three shows daily, between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m.
Arabian Centres is a leader in consumer trends and offers a unique brand mix, introducing the best and most diverse retail, leisure and entertainment options in the Kingdom.
“We wanted to expand our entertainment offering this year to be more inclusive of families with young children, and are pleased to be able to achieve this objective through our sponsorship with Event Box. The shows are educational and entertaining, and have been chosen with the objective of combining fun with learning in mind,” said Mohammed Abaalkheil, CMO of Arabian Centers.
