DHL Express MENA is working with the Ministry of Planning in Egypt to support the country's vision for 2030, which is based on social justice and economic development, said Nour Soliman, the CEO of the company on Tuesday.
Soliman was speaking at a conference to announce cooperation between the two sides.
He said the strategic location of Egypt makes it a very important market not only to the company but to the whole world.
Egypt's success and development is important because it helps create new opportunities to establish relationships of logistics and trade between the world and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, he said.
Indeed, Egypt has faced a number of economic challenges over the past period, Soliman acknowledged, noting that his company, together with the Egyptian government and private firms, is standing up to those challenges.
Citizens think the government is acting alone to face the challenges, but this is untrue, Soliman told the conference.
DHL Express can very well, through its numerous branches across the world, send a message to investors to do business in Egypt, he said.
The company can post businessmen on incentives offered by the Egyptian government to promote direct foreign investments, he noted.
Soliman stressed that his company supports the Egyptian economy and works to lure investors to the country.
