Former presidents, board members, employees and official representatives from both the public and private sector attended the ceremony. They previewed the company’s key milestones that shaped its remarkable journey.
Former CEOs, board members and employees received awards at the event in recognition of their efforts during their career with Dur.
Abdullah Al-Essa, chairman of Dur Hospitality, launched the ceremony with a touching speech and highlighted the key milestones achieved by the company since its inception.
Dur’s 40 years witnessed the evolution of the hospitality industry in Saudi Arabia, and the contribution of great men who established and reshaped the hospitality industry, and led to the having it as a Key vital sector of the Saudi Economy.
Abdullah Al-Essa praised the efforts of the board members.
He expressed pride to be a member of the founding family of Dur Hospitality.
He said: “With SR2.37 billion ($720 million) worth of assets and more than 21 properties, six projects under development and 10 10 under valuation and design, We have gathered to celebrate the success of Dur Hospitality.”
