Oil Leak Southwest Kuwait Contained

Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) announced on Monday that the oil leak in southwest of Kuwait on Sunday has been contained, the company's spokesman said.
Acting Deputy CEO for Administrative and Financial affairs, Menahi Al Enezi said in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the concerned teams managed to contain the leak and work is now ongoing to secure the oil well in accordance with the relevant protocol.
He anticipated that full control of the well will be completed within the few coming hours, expecting re-operation of the well for production.
