Abdullah Alomari, Mobily’s executive general manager — security and privacy, has been named among the top chief information security officers (CISO-100) by the Middle East Security Awards (MESA) in a ceremony held in Dubai last week.
The event was attended by information security leaders from corporations across the Middle East.
The award recognizes Alomari’s professional contribution, growth, achievements, and his application of the best innovative security practices in the field.
Alomari participated in the accompanying conference as a panelist on the CISO Insight Panel titled “Cyber-security Innovation and Future Traits.”
The panelists addressed the issues of cyber threats, challenges and related strategies that businesses need to consider through their journey toward digital transformation.
The event also included a cyber-security conference exclusively aimed at creating better collaboration between security leaders and executives through experience and information sharing.
The event hosted more than 20 CISOs as speakers and panelists from leading organizations across the GCC countries and more than 10 international speakers. It was attended by over 200 senior delegates from the region.
