Prince Sultan bin Salman, chairman of Saudi Aviation Club, honored Mobily for its exclusive sponsorship of the Third General Aviation Forum in the Kingdom.
Eng. Ismail S. Alghamdi, Mobily Chief Business Officer, received the honor.
Mobily exclusively sponsored the Third General Aviation Forum representing the Telecom & IT sector; the forum is considered a pioneer in the field of aviation culture and science, which it helps promote among the different segments of society in the Kingdom. It is notable in its efforts to encourage youngsters to join the world of aviation and in giving the general public access to the field.
The forum allows aviation enthusiasts around the Kingdom and the Gulf to meet and exchange expertise. The event saw the participation of over 50 private jets, private single engine jets and sports jets from across Saudi Arabia as well as from different Gulf countries.
Mobily’s sponsorship is a result of its interest in the important role played by the forum and its contribution in spreading awareness about aviation in Saudi society. Such events help achieve Mobily’s social responsibility objectives.
