Saudi Total Petroleum Products Company took part in the SABIC Technical Meeting (STM), which was held at the King Abdulaziz Cultural Center in Jubail Industrial City recently.
It is staged every two years alongside the technical meeting and the conference series.
The STM’s exhibition is the largest industrial program in Saudi Arabia taking place on an area of more than 32,000 sq m of exhibition space.
Organizers said that 484 exhibitors took part in the show, which attracted more than 12,000 industry experts.
The exhibition provides a platform for collaborative industrial technology and innovation. It has become a prominent event over the years, providing a special opportunity to meet with professionals.
Saudi Total displayed its range of industrial lubricants, special fluids (solvents), fuel additives and other specialized services for petrochemical and refinery industries.
During the 4-day show, industrial experts flocked in large numbers to the Saudi Total stall with many inquiries about the company’s operations in Saudi Arabia and its products.
A high-profile delegation from Total attended the exhibition. It included a group of representatives of Saudi Arabia and top executives from the head office in Paris.
Lydie Sun, global marketing head of petrochemical industry, conducted a technical presentation on ways of selecting the right lubricant for the petrochemical industry.
Hisham Atalla, managing director of Saudi Total Petroleum Products Co. Ltd, said: “This year’s edition of SABIC Technical meeting was marked by great interest from experts and industrialists in various sectors, particularly in petrochemical segments.”
Total’s relationship with SABIC’s affiliates is developing on a faster scale with the involvement of the latest technology products, he said. “We are very much keen to take this relationship to the next level.”
