The three-day event for the global air cargo community “Air Cargo Africa 2017” kicked off in Johannesburg recently. Ismail Vadi, South African member of executive council for roads and transport, was the guest of honor.
He visited the Saudia Cargo stand, where its design drew the attention of Vadi and his accompanying officials, including Xhakaza Ekurhuleni, MMC, finance and economic development; Tieli Makhetha, general manager, South African Airways Cargo; and R. K. Patra, group editor-in-chief, STAT Media.
Vadi met with Rainer Muller, vice president, commercial, Saudia Cargo; Adel Sallam, manager, global marketing, Saudia Cargo, and Ken Mbogo, regional director, Africa, Saudia Cargo.
Saudia Cargo ranks among the world’s leading specialist airfreight carriers.
It is an independent company since 2008, and was a recipient of two industry awards in 2016, Air Cargo China Award and Air Cargo India Award for the fastest growing international cargo airline.
With the current logistics and infrastructure, Saudia Cargo’s mission complements the Saudi Vision 2030 program.
