Chinese shares open lower after overnight fall on Wall Street

Chinese stocks opened lower on Friday, tracking overnight losses on the Wall Street. The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.6 percent to open at 2,448.39. The Shenzhen Component Index opened 0.64 percent lower at 10,236.99.
