Italian stocks plunge more than 3%

Italian stocks plunged more than 3.0 percent on Monday in line with drops in other European markets as a political crisis in Greece set the eurozone on edge and ahead of a key bond auction in Italy. The FTSE Mib index was down 3.09 percent at 13,611 points at 0850 GMT. Italy's borrowing costs on the secondary market also rose with the yield on 10-year bonds rising to 5.627 percent from 5.495 percent on Friday.
