Tokyo stocks opened slightly lower Tuesday with the key Nikkei index dropping 0.12 percent. At 9:15 a.m., the 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average lost 11.56 points from Monday to 9,473.53 The broader Topix index was down 0.78 point, or 0.10 percent, to 818.25.
