Prime Minister Sherif Ismail discussed on Monday with Minister of Supply Ali Mselhi efforts to provide basic commodities to citizens.
In a press conference after the meeting, the supply minister said that wheat stock will meet the demands for five months, describing his meeting with the prime minister as fruitful and tackled the importance of providing basic goods, such as sugar, wheat and proteins.
The minister said that his ministry has 4.4 million tons of local and imported wheat and 1.2 million tons of sugar, in addition to large quantities of cooking oil and rice.
