The Qatar Exchange was down on Thursday 16.60 points or 0.19% to 8,752.87 points from the previous closing of 8,769.47. The volume of shares traded was up to 8,595,428 from 5,431,371 on Wednesday, and the value of shares increased to QR308,277,622.63 from QR204,026,649.94 Wednesday. Among the top losers were Qatar National Bank whose share dropped 0.93% to QR149.30, Industries Qatar lost by 0.37% to QR133.40, Qatar Islamic Bank fell 0.60% to QR83.50 and Qatar Insurance down 1.03% to QR77.20. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector dropped 64.47 points while the Insurance sector lost 69.15 points. The Qatar industrial sector rose 30.62 points and the Services sector added 7.36 points.
