Qatar Exchange down 0.35%

The Qatar Exchange was down on Monday 30.70 points or 0.35% to 8,785.32 points from the previous closing of 8,816.02. The volume of shares traded fell to 50,391,715 from 53,811,740 on last day and the value of shares was down to QR1,169,481,060.42 from QR 1,295,688,918.44. Among the top losers were Qatar National Bank whose share dropped by 0.66% to QR150.30, Barwa Real Estate fell 2.43% to QR30.10, Qatar Telecom lost 1.88% to QR141.20 and Qatar Navigation down 0.39% to QR76.30. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector dropped 33.58 points while the Insurance sector added 43.22 points. The Qatar industrial sector gained 3.34 points and the Services sector down 43.40 points.
