Qatar Exchange up 0.06%

The Qatar Exchange was slightly up on Wednesday adding 5.69 points or 0.06% to 8,769.47 points from 8,763.78 Tuesday. The volume of shares traded down to 5,431,371 from 9,114,161 on Tuesday and the value of shares fell to QR 204,026,649.94 from QR  297,051,168.54 Tuesday. Top gainers were Comm. Bank of Qatar which was up 0.96% to QR84.00, Masref Al Rayan  by 1.12% to QR27.15, Qatar Navigation by 0.39% to QR77.20 and United Dev. Company up by 0.44% to QR24.86. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector up 8.09 while the Insurance sector gained 43.22 points. The Qatar industrial sector added 19.95 points and the Services sector lost 2.31 points.
