The Qatar Exchange was in the green area Wednesday, adding 56.85 points or 0.70% to 8,127.54 points from the previous closing of 8,070.69. The volume of shares traded was fell to 8,829,456 from 14,810,171 on Tuesday and the value of shares was down to QR383,853,282.22 from QR618,338,358.17 Tuesday. Top gainers were Barwa Real Estate which was up 2.49% to QR28.80,Doha Insurance rose 2.54% to QR28.30, Qatar Meat & Livestock gained 3.67% to QR19.50 and Al Meera was up by 3.56% to QR122.30. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector rose 61.83 and the Insurance sector added 121.01 points. The Qatar industrial sector gained 34.79 points and the Services sector was up 57.44 points.
