Qatar Exchange up 0.98%

The Qatar Exchange pursued its upswing trend Sunday adding 83.95 points or 0.98% to 8,619.63 points from 8,535.68 Thursday. The volume of shares traded up to 7,580,104 from 7,042,946 on Thursday and the value of shares down to QR278,170,647.75 from QR285,668,088.92 Thursday. Top gainers were Qatar National Bank which was up 1.18% to QR146.10, Industries Qatar by 2.16% to QR132.70, Comm. Bank of Qatar by 1.59% to QR82.90 and Qatar Islamic Bank up by 1.25% to QR81.00. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector gained 162.56 while the Insurance sector down 17.29 points. The Qatar industrial sector rose 134.18 points and the Services sector added 20.96 points.
