Qatar Exchange pursued it's upswing trend Monday adding 90.42 points (or 1.03%) to advance to 8,834.90 points from 8,744.48 Sunday. The volume of shares traded was up to 13,830,609 from 13,529,078 on Sunday and the value of shares fell to QR454,056,746.62 from QR471,302,852.29. Top gainers were Qatar National Bank which was up 3.40% to QR148.90, Industries Qatar by 1.76% to QR144.60, Electricity and Water up by 3.55% to QR146.00 and United Dev.Company by 4.27% to QR23.20. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector gained 149.21and the Insurance sector added 143.94 points. The Qatar industrial sector lost 95.08 points and the Services sector was up 44.20 points.
