Seoul shares ended lower on Monday.
The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) lost 13.29 points, or 0.61 percent, to settle at 2,155.66. Trading volume stood at 390.9 million shares worth 5.02 trillion won (4.51 billion U.S. dollars).
South Korea's currency finished at 1,112.8 won against the greenback, up 9.8 won from the previous close.
